1. Prepare the account and resource
You need a supported professional Instagram account and permission to connect it to the workspace. In Settings, connect the account and review its connection status. Choose the post or Reel and prepare the destination you will share.
The application interface uses English. The screen names below match that interface. Do not paste account tokens or private credentials into messages.
2. Create the matching rule
Open Automations and create a new automation. Choose the account and media scope. For a first campaign, select one relevant item rather than all content. Add an include keyword such as GUIDE and choose the matching locale.
Use the default word/phrase operator for an exact word boundary. Add an exclude rule only if a clear negative phrase should suppress a response.
- Try “GUIDE please” as a matching example.
- Try an unrelated comment as a non-matching example.
- If using exclusions, test a comment containing both include and exclude words.
3. Write and preview the replies
Write the private reply with the promised information or URL. Supply three distinct public acknowledgement variants for the fixed public step. Keep each acknowledgement accurate: it is sent only after confirmed private delivery.
The editor preview checks an example without sending Instagram messages. It does not prove provider delivery or grant missing permissions.
4. Save, activate and review
Save the draft, review its settings and activate it separately. Saving alone does not make the automation active. Later edits do not silently replace the active version.
Use Activity to review incoming eligible comments and delivery outcomes. If nothing happens, check account status, media selection, keywords and automation status before changing the configuration.
