1. Prepare a destination that works for others
Upload the resource to a location you control and open it without your own session. Check the phone experience and any access requirements. A link that works only for the creator will not help the recipient.
DialogArc shares your configured link. It does not host the resource, collect a subscriber list or verify that someone downloaded it.
2. Write a specific invitation
For a planning checklist, a caption could say: “Comment CHECKLIST and I’ll send the planning resource by DM.” Choose the corresponding post or Reel in the automation.
Use one resource per automation so each matched person receives the content they requested. Do not imply that a comment signs someone up for unrelated broadcasts.
3. Compose a useful private reply
Name the resource before its link and add a short instruction if needed: “Here is the planning checklist. Open it and save your own copy.” Check the URL carefully.
If you need a follower check before the reward, use the fixed follower gate and explain that interaction clearly. Ordinary comment-to-DM does not require that extra step.
4. Preview and review the outcome
Test the keyword and a negative example in the editor, save the draft and activate separately. Review Activity after eligible comments arrive.
A confirmed message outcome is not a download metric. To understand resource use, use appropriate evidence from the destination itself; do not infer it from a public acknowledgement.
